My Easter tradition, 
I do an Adult piñata, filled with candy, scratch tickets, variety of gardening seeds and everyone's favorite ~ Nips!  We never know who will get the last hit, my 3 year old nephew or my 93 year old grandmother.  Always a fun activity, for all ages!

Catching Up~

 

This was me all last week, drinking my nightly Theraflu drink, hoping to kick my awful head cold.  As I write this, day 6 and I'm still fighting it....Ugh!  I felt the best Saturday, so I was able to enjoyed a walk in the sun, then tackled some small home projects......  

 

1st on my list, small front door updates-

 

I purchased this pineapple plaque at an antique mall about a year ago,  talk about procrastination!  It was the wrong green, so I painted the top the same color as my doors, now it works w/ the exterior colors.

 

 

Then this bad boy needed some help, how ugly! 

My front door handle was an eye sore,

so I painted it a glossy black and it looks like new! 

 

 

 

Simple improvements, make this girl happy!

Closet Craving

I'm in need of a closet makeover!  I have a closet full of the same old pieces, which I find myself wearing the same few items each week, so boring.  Their is a stylish girl in me that really cares.  I want to look put together everyday but the reality is, when I wake up to the cold, grey mornings~ I feel unmotivated.  You know what I mean?!  I'm determined to change my ways now that it's spring.  I believe when all you have is cute, classic and well made piece to pick from, like this fabulous color block dress, you cant go wrong!
