Rustic Chic

Rustic Chic

My good friend just recently became a homeowner to a great condo in South Boston, so happy for her!  She asked for some help pulling her bedroom together, so excited to help!  The room is Sweet- large scale, huge closet, bright room with a wall full of windows and a wall of exposed brick-Amazing!

I found some items I feel would work well with the Rustic Chic feel she has going on already.  The picture below is the  pretty headboard she current has, the color scheme will be pink, navy, and grey-love it!!

Colleen's pretty pink/salmon headboard and amazing exposed brick wall!

great metal round mirror
love this dresser, clean lines, soft finish and metal hardware
metal nightstand will pop against the brick
soft curved white table lamp will tie in nicely w/ headboard soft curves

The rug is the first thing you see when entering the room and the largest pieces so she has to love it! I found three options that would work great in her space, the first is designed by Jill Rosenwald (love her work) Fallon slate rug, it's a light grey tone and classic geometric style, my first pick!

Which one?!

The next is a dark navy classic pattern which would be a perfect contrast to the brick wall, salmon headboard, and BM-Revere Pewter wall color she already has! The room has three large bright windows so the dark rug would warm the space- great option.

Lastly is a gorgeous Intertwine deep navy/ cream rug with a nautical feel, which is so my friends style!

My choice for bedding and drapes would be classic white, maybe a monogram pillow in pink to finish it off!

We shall see what she chooses! :)
